A Wedding at Fanshawe Pioneer Village

Fanshawe Pioneer Village, with its charming heritage buildings and sprawling grounds, set the stage for a wedding that blended history with contemporary romance. As a fine art wedding photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque canvas on a beautiful summer day. It all began with a heartwarming first look. Against the backdrop of the historic village, Ashley and Derek shared a private and intimate moment, allowing me to capture the raw and authentic reactions that would set the tone for the rest of their day. I always love shooting first looks for this very reason.

The ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by the lush greenery and rustic charm of Fanshawe Pioneer Village. The natural light added a soft glow to the proceedings, enhancing the beauty of the moment as they exchanged vows in the presence of family and friends. The reception was a true feast for the senses. In a unique twist, the catering was provided by a food truck, serving up delicious delights like chicken and waffle sandwiches and tacos. As a documentary wedding photographer, each moment unfolded naturally, and my lens captured the joy, love, and the undeniable connection between Ashley and Derek.
