Cass and Ty had their tent wedding on a family estate in Georgetown, Ontario. They already had a huge tent put up for the wedding reception, but planned to have the ceremony outside uncovered… until Mother Nature decided otherwise.

They had no choice but to scramble last minute, the day before the wedding, to secure and setup another tent. It had to be big enough to hold the ceremony and fit all the guests. And good thing they did because did it ever rain! It rained so hard the morning of and right up until the ceremony began that the tent started to get muddy inside. But Cass and Ty and all their guests made the best of it and everything turned out wonderfully. Their ceremony was beautiful, intimate and full of joy.

As if on cue after the ceremony, the rain stopped and the sun shone. We captured gorgeous portraits in the garden and all the guests had a great time during cocktail hour outside. By the evening it was a completely different day outside than when it began.

At the end of it all, there was two big surprises left: fireworks and an ice cream truck!
